Before I had Isla, I had ZERO interest in newborn photography. Mostly because my different experiences with babies (not just newborns) could be counted on one hand. I had only held two babies before I was pregnant, and then I had to coach myself up to holding more since that would be my reality soon enough. Once I had Isla, I started taking her picture every month and became more comfortable in that type of photography, but I still hadn’t given newborn photography much thought.
That is until I got an email from Whitney. We went back and forth a few times with me asking repeatedly… “Who? Me?” I was encouraged by her confidence and agreed to my very first newborn session.
AND I LOVED IT.
Every adorable little second was incredible, and you could not have asked for better clients! The love and affection just flowed out of them like I wasn’t even there taking pictures. When THAT happens, it reminds me of why I love photography so much. So to all the other photographers out there… I call dibs on The Cornejos!
Whitney, I am so grateful that you reached out to me, believed in my abilities, and let me stand on all of your furniture. Let’s do this again soon.
